“How can one preserve the concept of manliness in this modern age of liberal views and cultural influences?”

- Traditionally, it was not widely accepted for men to be conscious of their appearances, but today a modern man is encouraged to have a conscious effort to improve their looks.

- Having or denoting those good qualities traditionally associated with men, s uch as courage and strength.

-  Befitting a man, esp. in a traditional sense: "the manly art of knife-throwing.

-  One can preserve the concept of manliness by making a conscious effort to improve every aspect of your personality be it character or outside appearance. It is now common for manly man to take care of their outside appearance after all who likes to kiss a rotten potato. 

-  If a man tries to be more conscious in his look, it doesn't necessary mean that he's out of the concept of manliness. It actually adds into his manliness, because what he is inside will reflect his outside appearance.
