Gwiyomi Fever (Viral Video)

The Gwiyomi song, or Kiyomi song (귀요미송), is a K-pop single by the South Korean indie musician Hari. The song was released on February 18, 2013 and is based on an Internet meme known as the Gwiyomi Player, which was invented in October 2012 by the K-pop idol Jung Il Hoon and has inspired many similar versions uploaded onto the Internet by Asian netizens.

According to The Bangkok Post, "Gwiyomi" or "Kiyomi" is a Korean slang used to refer to a cute person. The lyrics of the song can be interpreted as "1 + 1 = Cute, 2 + 2 = Cute", etc.

The "Gwiyomi Player" first appeared in October 2012 on "BToB MTV DiaryMany", a variety show featuring the South Korean idol group BTOB whose rapper Jung Il Hoon performed the Kwiyomi song with various gestures considered by K-pop fans to be "cute".

Weekly Idol, a South Korean variety show also featured a mini segment dubbed "The Aegyo Battle" (Battle of Cuteness) where various idols performed different variations of Gwiyomi. Towards the end of 2012, other K-pop idols from popular bands such as Miss AGirls' GenerationInfinite and SISTAR also exhibited the hand gestures and movements of the "Gwiyomi Player".

On February 18, 2013, the "Gwiyomi song" was released by a South Korean music artist known as Hari. 6 days later, a separate version of the "Gwiyomi song" was uploaded onto the video sharing platform YouTube by Jung Il Hoon and his music label Cube Entertainment.

This inspired many South Korean teenage girls to upload their own version of Gwiyomi onto the Internet. According to the K-pop website Soompi, many of these videos subsequently went viral on various Korean language web portals.

From March 2013 onwards, the "Gwiyomi Player" was mostly recreated by teenage girls from Southeast Asia, where the K-pop music genre has a huge and loyal fanbase especially in Thailand and in the Philippines. A few Thai actresses including Nuengthida Sophon and Tanyares Ramnarong also performed their own version of Gwiyomi. On March 26, The Bangkok Post described the "Gwiyomi" song as the latest web-viral sensation that has unseated "Gangnam Style" to become the new K-pop craze.

Over in the Philippines, the trend caught on after Vice Ganda (a comedian and television presenter) performed his version of Gwiyomi on a popular teleivison show called "It's Showtime" aired by the Filipino broadcasting network ABS-CBNAlodia Gosiengfiao (a cosplayer and model) also performed Gwiyomi for her fans.

In early April 2013, the China Internet Information Center (a web portal operating under the auspices of the Chinese State Council Information Office) reported that large numbers of Chinese Internet users have uploaded their own version of the "Gwiyomi" song. On April 2, an article by a regional newspaper was republished by Xinhua News Agency (the official news agency of China), hailing "Gwiyomi" as the latest South Korean melody surpassing the popularity of "Gangnam Style".

The Gwiyomi phenomenon began trending in several other countries in the region, including Malaysia, SingaporeHong Kong and Taiwan.

And here's my own video,  the UNCUTE version of GWIYOMI. Enjoy...

The Reality Of BISEXUALITY

Most people believe that bisexuality is an abnormal condition of dilemma, that it is a straight individual on his/her way to being a gay or the other way around. The reality is bisexuality is a legitimate sexual orientation by itself.

Possibly no other term in the sphere of human behavior is employed with such imprecision. Let’s first discuss what bisexuality doesn’t imply. In traditional cultures of ancient Rome and Greece many males were bisexual as they were wedded to ladies and had teenage boys as lovers. This set-up was possibly the source of few of the great legendary and lyric verses of Hellenic periods.

First of all, never presume that the bisexual party is into courting you before you validate this with them. A few bisexuals don’t want a fully committed and monogamous union, some others either don’t wish to start a family yet (like a straight, lesbian and gay or relationship) or think they’ll never be satisfied sexually with just one person. Accordingly, you could go forward in your bisexual courting endeavor. Some others who are completely transparent with you can help you save a lot of inconvenience and hurt feelings, but don’t anticipate them to always do that, very often it is your responsibility.

Unlike homosexuality, bisexuality does not seem so unethical in the eyes of contemporary society. You can even find ancient ethnicity's  wherein bisexuality was normal, and it was not seen as an issue so long as they ultimately got married to someone from the opposite gender. Even though bisexuality does not seem so unethical in the eyes of many heterosexuals, the lesbian and gay community views it in a different way. The majority of gays and lesbians look at bisexuality as a phase of indecision. Oftentimes, they even view bisexuals as individuals who are in refusal of their homosexuality. Actually, there is a joke which goes “Bi now, gay later.” Even though a few bisexuals do become homosexual, this is not a common phenomenon.

One advantage of bisexuality is the fact that it enables a person to engage in completely different psychological and sexual roles. With a lady, the bisexual may be fatherly and aggressive, and with a different man, childlike and unaggressive. With a lady he may be open, pleasant, and confiding, a genuine associate in the complicated relationship, and with a guy he may be cold, mysterious, and animal-like. Or he may be sensitive and supporting with a young man and somewhat rough and aggressive with a more mature woman. Homosexuality may be restricted to lasting human relationships and heterosexuality for temporary enjoyment, or the other way around.

As bisexuality has become more tolerable both in traditional western countries as well as other civil ones like Australia, the United Kingdom and Ireland increasing number of people are admitting their sexual preferences. This implies that as a bisexual you’ve more alternatives, than ever before, in finding your ideal bisexual date. Presently there are even bisexual groups, and huge number of people on-line keen on bisexual actives.

Juan Manuel Márquez beats Manny Pacquiao

Marquez beat Pacquiao

And so here we go again, Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez - 4!

Pacquiao leads the series 2-0, with one draw, and yet bizarrely the feeling is that Pacman needs to win this fight comfortably - preferably via a knockdown - to prove himself the better of the two fighters.

Marquez has said over and over that he believes he won all three previous meetings. And there are plenty of others who support his view, particularly at the MGM Grand tonight - Mexican boxing fans in Las Vegas heavily outnumbering the support for the Filipino.

But perhaps it is Marquez who needs to make the statement: he is, after all, trailing 0-2 in the series and has been sent to the canvas several times.

Indeed, eight years ago when this pair first met, after just three minutes nobody would have expected the rivalry to go as far as a Quadrilogy. Marquez was knocked down three times in 90 seconds and clinging on. He recovered, turned that fight into a battle that the judges just couldn't split and led to a matchup that reappeared in 2008, 2011 and now 2012.

The pair aren't even fighting for a title belt - Pacquiao "lost" his to Timothy Bradley in June. So, it's pride at stake tonight. The promoters have to call it something so it's the The Fight of the Decade. Cynics are calling it the Fight of the Decayed, but that's just rude.

Juan Manuel Marquez knocked out Manny Pacquiao towards the end of the sixth round, connecting on a right straight Sunday (Manila time) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

With bloodied nose and all, Marquez dropped Pacquiao, who was knocked out cold just before the bell.

This was the ending Marquez had been looking for, after settling for a draw and loss via split and majority decisions in the previous three fights.

Pacquiao, who was knocked down by Marquez in the third round, took a hard punch to the chin and couldn’t get up after that.

It was the first time in four fights that Pacquiao was knocked out by Marquez.

Marquez improved to 55-6-1, 40 KOs, while Pacquiao slid to 54-5-2, 38 KOs.
