Ten Moves, Ten Thousand Classrooms for only Ten Pesos!

 

TEN (The Entire Nation) Moves! is a private sector-led campaign to help address the classroom shortage in public schools all over the Philippines.  Our campaign is part of Bayanihang Pampaaralan, an initiative of the 57-75 Education Reform Movement to raise resources to build 10,000 classrooms in areas with the greatest and most urgent need.  While the government’s budget for the building of classrooms has increased in 2011 and is being increased again in 2012, the resources are still not enough to fully address the problem.

They are looking for two million Filipinos to donate P10 per day for 10 months. That will be P300 per month or P3,000 total for the entire 10 months.  Two million individual donors will help raise P6 billion, the amount required to build 10,000 classrooms. Sampung piso. Sampung buwan. Sampung libong silid-aralan.
