El Presidente: General Emilio Aguinaldo Story and the First Philippine Republic

 

The first trailer for the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival entry El Presidente has been released. The said film stars Jeorge "E.R." Estregan, Nora Aunor, Cristine Reyes, Cesar Montano and Chrsitopher de Leon.

A biopic of the first Philippine president, El Presidente: General Emilio Aguinaldo Story and the First Philippine Republic is written and directed by Mark Meily.

Produced by Scenema Concept International, Viva films and CMB Films, El Presidente is Gov. E.R. Ejercito's follow-up to Manila Kingpin: The Asiong Salonga Story, which reaped top honors at last year's MMFF.

Also in the cast are Jerico Estregan, Ronnie Lazaro, Mav Lozano, Emilio Garcia, Bayani Agbayani, Sid Lucero, Lariel Castro, Alvin Anson, Allen Dizon, William Martinez, Alicia Meyer, Romel Montano, Joko Diaz, Gerard Ejercito, Wil Devaughn, Mike Lloren, Hero Bautista, Ian De Leon, Yul Servo, John Arcilla, Felix Roco, Archi Adamos, Gary Estrada, Epy Quizon, Tony Mabesa, Baron Geisler, Allan Paule, John Regala, Ian Veneracion, Troy Montero, Sunshine Cruz, Maita Sanchez, Lu Veloso, Soliman Cruz, and many more.
